Pomares elected chairman of MAR

Veteran realtor Martha Pomares has been elected the new chairman of the board of the Miami Association of Realtors, Property Wire reported today. Pomares, who just completed a term as 2011 President of the Certified Residential Specialist Florida Chapter, is also a director for the Florida Realtors and the National Association of Realtors and serves on the Professional Standards and Risk Management committees. Natascha Tello of Keller Williams Realty Partners SW serves as chairman-elect of the association, which represents over 25,600 professionals in residential, commercial and international real estate, Property Wire said.
