South Florida Islamic school in foreclosure

The Islamic Foundation of Florida in Sunrise, which is one of South Florida’s largest Islamic schools, is in a foreclosure action concerning a second mortgage on the site, the South Florida Business Journal reported. The school is located at 5455 NW 108th Avenue, and was previously known as the School of Islamic Studies of Broward. The foreclosure action was filed by Pembroke Pines resident E.M.Segall, who holds a construction mortgage in the amount of $10 million. [SFBJ]
