South Florida industrial portfolio sells for $18.9M

Sunny Morning Foods in Fort Lauderdale

A fully-leased industrial portfolio in Broward County has sold for a total of $18.9 million, according to Marcus & Millichap. The properties include Tamarac Business Center, Tamarac Commerce Center, Sunny Morning Foods and the Sun Sentinel building. The last two properties are both located in Fort Lauderdale. The buyer was Industrial Income Trust. “The industrial sector’s inherent stability, ties to growth-leading industries and higher spreads relative to the cost of debt continues to create investors interest,” said Marcus & Millichap’s Douglas Mandel, brokered the sale in conjunction with Butters Realty President Malcolm Butter.
