Chris Koster

A 136-count indictment has been filed against DocX, a foreclosure processing company that was the subsidiary of Jacksonville-based Lender Processing Services. The announcement was made by Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster, who, along with the governments of Nevada and Michigan, has filed claims against the company for forgery and false declarations. “The grand jury indictment alleges that mass-produced fraudulent signatures on notarized real documents constitutes forgery,” Koster said. Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi’s office has said that what occurred at DocX may not legally be forgery. [Palm Beach Post]
