Gertrud Turklitz’s home on the northern tip of Everglades Island is listed for $33.9 million, according to the Palm Beach Daily News. The home, which was built in 1959 and is located at 482 Island Drive, has five bedrooms and five bathrooms and 400 feet of waterfront. Turklitz is selling her home because her mother, who will turn 98 this year, cannot travel anymore. The home is no longer used as a permanent residence, although Turklitz said the home is used periodically. [Palm Beach Daily News]
