Developer evicting Venezuelan Consulate in Miami

Developer Tibor Hollo has filed an eviction notice against the Venezuelan government at his property at 1101 Brickell Avenue, the South Florida Business Journal reported. Venezuela’s consul general in Miami, Livia Acosta Noguera, was evicted last year, and soon after President Hugo Chavez announced that the office would close. “Since January, they haven’t paid rent, so I want to evict them,” Hollo said. “The office is there. Nobody is in the office. Al the furniture is there, but they aren’t there. I want my money or my space back.” [SFBJ]
