Miami prosecutors charge four with operating foreclosure scam

The Miami State Attorney’s office has charged four city residents for their roles in allegedly operating a foreclosure and short sale scam, the South Florida Business Journal reported. The four arrested include Ayda Young, Yohany Garcia, Zoraida Abreu and Johnny Bou-Nassar. The scammers allegedly represented that they had inside connections with the county government that gave them special deals on homes that were in foreclosure. [SFBJ]
