Books & Books opens at Southeast Financial Center

Retailer Books & Books has opened its new location at Southeast Financial Center, the tallest office tower in South Florida. The location, called The Newsstand by Books & Books, is the eighth location for the company, including branches in Coral Gables and Miami Beach. “This area equally represents Miami’s core CBD as well as a burgeoning living sector,” said Mitchell Kaplan, owner of Books & Books. Greg Masin, senior director at Cushman & Wakefield, represented both sides in the transaction. “Books & Books is a Miami icon,” he said. “We look at the plaza as the living room of the property and the surrounding area.” — Alexander Britell
