The 1400 Biscayne Center mixed-use complex in downtown Miami has increased occupancy from 11 percent to 70 percent in two years, including signing 20 tenants in the last six months. The 150,000-square-foot complex has signed leases with tenants including Paramount Pictures, Centro Cultural Espanol and the Cleveland Orchestra. The property, which is located at the center of Miami’s arts district, is just north of the Adrienne Arsht Center. Spanish developer Espacio USA has spent $1.5 million in capital improvements on the property. Paramount signed a 9,300-square-foot lease for production on an upcoming film. Other new tenants include Condo Black Book, Dolcevita Cashmere and AOC Wines. — Alexander Britell
