David Stern settles class action suit

Foreclosure attorney David Stern has settled a class action lawsuit filed by 800 former employees alleging he did not properly inform them of their looming layoffs, the South Florida Business Journal reported. The agreement means each employee will receive approximately $450. The lawsuit against Stern, who became the face of the foreclosure document scandal in 2010, also claimed several violations of labor laws. [SFBJ]
