Four months after opening, the West Marine flagship store in Fort Lauderdale has sold for $12.75 million, according to CBRE Group, which brokered the sale.
West Marine, a chain store that sells boating parts, apparel and accessories moved into the 50,000-square-foot building, at 2401 South Andrews Avenue, in November 2011. It was developed specifically for the retailer by Stiles Corporation. The store is the largest of West Marine’s 300 North America locations and features a Megayacht fly bridge and on-site rigging shop.
But Stiles sold it to Cole Capital and was represented by David Donnellan, Todd Weintraub, Charlie Manuel and Mark Drazek. — Adam Fusfeld
