Bob Vila makes first appearance as chairman of Palm Beach Architectural Commission

Longtime “This Old House” star Bob Vila made his first appearance yesterday as the chairman of Palm Beach’s Architectural Commission, the Palm Beach Daily News reported. “It was nerve-wracking at first,” said Vila, who had previously been an alternate and then a regular member of the commission. Vila, who is originally from Miami, hosted “This Old House” for 10 years. He is joined on the commission by architect Nikita Zukov, the new vice chairman. [Palm Beach Daily News]
