Palm Beach home sells for $3.98 million

The home at 149 Australian Avenue in Palm Beach has sold for $3.98 million, according to Palm Beach County court records, the Palm Beach Daily News reported. The home, which was listed by Brown Harris Stevens agent Becky Myers, was sold by James and Judith Pizzagalli. It had recently seen a discount that brought the asking price down to $4.5 million. “Basically, we talked about it and said, ‘let’s put it at a price that’s really attractive, and where we don’t have to negotiate,'” Myers said. The home had originally been listed at $5.85 million. Pizzagalli is the co-chairman of a Vermont construction firm. [Palm Beach Daily News]
