Florida AG Bondi asks Floridians about how to spend $300 million from foreclosure settlement

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is seeking feedback from state residents on ways to use $300 million of the money the state earned in a nationwide foreclosure settlement, the Palm Beach Post reported. “Florida is one of the hardest hit states in the country in terms of foreclosures, and I’d like to hear from Floridians about the ways we can help homeowners and offset the devastation caused by the foreclosure crisis,” she said in a statement. The state earned $8.4 billion in total benefits from the settlement. [Palm Beach Post]
