Head of Palm Beach County foreclosure rescue firm charged with fraud

Guilfort Dieuvil, the president of foreclosure rescue firm Nationwide Investment Firm, has been charged with several counts of fraud, the Palm Beach Post reported. The charges follow an investigation by officials across Florida, including Boca Raton and Tallahassee. A number of complaints had arisen about the firm’s work, as homeowners quitclaim deeded their properties over to Dieuvil in the hopes of brokering a short sale or modification on their home loan. Instead, they lost their homes. The company has title to 73 properties in Florida, according to state records. [Palm Beach Post]
