Miami Tower has signed 21,753 square feet of new leases, according to Transwestern. The deals were led by a 14,544-square-foot renewal and expansion by Diaz Reus & Targ, an international law firm, which has taken a full-floor presence on the building’s 34th floor. A newly formed firm, Diaz, Briscoe and Medina, has taken a long-term lease for 4,624 square feet on the 33rd floor, according to Transwestern, which is the exclusive leasing agent for Miami Tower. Brickell Asset Management, an aviation leasing company, also took a 2,585-square-foot lease at the 618,990-square-foot building, which was designed by I.M. Pei.  “There is an emerging vibrancy for professional service companies, in particular law and accounting firms, to view downtown Miami as the ideal location for business success,” said Gordon Messinger, vice president at Transwestern. — Alexander Britell
