Plans shelved for “Gigi Village” restaurant space at SoBe’s New World Center

A planned expansion of Midtown eatery Gigi to the parking garage next to the New World Center in Miami Beach has been shelved in favor of a new restaurant called Cooper Avenue, according to the Miami New Times. The project had been dubbed “Gigi Village” by restaurateur Amir Ben-Zion. Now, Cooper Avenue will be opening this summer at 1661 Pennsylvania Avenue in Miami Beach. [Miami New Times]
