Miami-based Lennar eyes Washington for new home construction drive

Miami-based homebuilder Lennar is in the midst of a homebuilding push in Washington state, a drive that began in December 2011 with the acquisition of the Premier communities of Puyallup, the Seattle Times reported. Now, Lennar, the third-largest homebuilder in America, is targeting the Puget Sound area, proposing the construction of between 450 and 500 homes each year in the region. [Seattle Times]
