Atlanta’s IDI pays $20.6 million for Davie site

Atlanta-based IDI has paid $20.6 million for an industrial site in Davie, the Sun Sentinel reported. The company plans to build a 705,000-square-foot industrial park called Davie Business Center, which is slated to include four buildings. “You just can’t go out and find industrial-zoned land just sitting there,” said Scott Helms, senior vice president at IDI. According to the company, it has already developed 5.4 million square feet of space in Florida, with most of that in South Florida. Land owners Austin Forman and Jack Loos were the sellers of the property, which is located at 3000 SW 60th Avenue. [SFBJ]
