Miami-Dade College has closed on the $25 million purchase of the InterAmerican Plaza office building in Little Havana. The school has been the largest tenant at the property, which is located at 701 SW 27th Avenue, for over a decade. “For 15 years, we have been looking for the best ways to better serve the dynamic students of the InterAmerican Campus,” Miami-Dade College Dr. Eduardo Padron said. “The acquisition of the InterAmerican Plaza provides the only way to meaningfully expand the campus.” Bilzin Sumberg’s Adam Lustig represented seller Shavuot in the deal. Miami-Dade College was represented by Blanca Commercial Real Estate’s Hank Klein and Ashlin Group’s Frank Kohn. — Alexander Britell
