Slight rebound for Miami hotels in May

Hotel occupancy in Miami-Dade County rose 1 percent in May compared to the same period in 2011, the Miami Herald reported. According to data from Smith Travel Research, Miami room rates rose 4.8 percent to $152 per room, while revenue per room increased by 6 percent in the same period.
