Developer plans 15,000-seat aquatic complex on 25 acres in Lauderdale Lakes

Developer Paul Anton has secured 25 acres of land in Lauderdale Lakes for a planned 15,000-seat aquatic sports and entertainment complex. The stadium project, which is located near Commercial Boulevard and Route 441, is set to break ground in 2013. Anton’s previous South Florida projects include the $10 million Leslie Hotel renovation and the Carlyle Hotel condominium conversion in 2005. Douglas Elliman’s Chad Carroll is representing Anton on the project. — Alexander Britell
