Village of Merrick Park mall in Coral Gables becomes “Merrick Shops”

The Village of Merrick Park luxury mall in Coral Gables has rebranded itself “Merrick Shops.” The updated name will officially debut near the end of 2012 with new signage and other changes. The property, which was developed by General Growth Properties, recently signed four new deals, including leases with J. Crew and Carlo Pazolini. Merrick Shops said it had another nine deals in the pipeline. — Alexander Britell
