The 10-seat fast-Italian restaurant Spaghetto opened on Miami Beach last spring, and now its Italian investors are expanding, with a 55-seat downtown Miami location underway, the Miami New Times reported. The downtown location will occupy the former Puntino space on the corner of South Miami Avenue and Southwest First Street. Two more stores are planned for 725 71st Street in Miami Beach and 11500 Biscayne Boulevard in North Miami. According to Spaghetto’s parent company, Verde Food, the chain is looking “to develop and manage a national fast-food company model in USA and to invest in the real estate market.” [Miami New Times] – Christopher Cameron
