Chicago eatery Prasino heading to Miami

Prasino, a Chicago-based restaurant, is planning to open a Miami outpost, Eater reported. The restaurant, which is owned by Ted Maglaris, expects to open two new locations next year out of a pool of Miami, Atlanta, Dallas and D.C. “People in a lifestyle center want an alternative,” he said. Miami’s growing restaurant and retail scene has attracted a number of out-of-state companies, from Danny Meyer’s Shake Shack, to the reported interest from French Laundry chef Thomas Keller. [Eater]
