A pervious out-of-state lien involving two previous owners has stalled the sale of Miami Heat player Mike Miller’s Pompano Beach home, the Miami Herald reported. Six-weeks after an unnamed buyer won the home at an a no-minimum-bid auction and papers were signed on the 10,000-square-foot beachfront house, Miller’s name is still on the deed.
“It’s not something that Mr. Miller did wrong,” Trayor Lesnock, an auctioneer associated with the sale, said. “The sale is still on but hasn’t been recording because the lawyers are still talking.”
Although it is unclear what the buyer is actually paying for the eight-bedroom house, it previously sold for $5.4 million. [Miami Herald] – Christopher Cameron
