Miami International Airport may have just completed the renovation of its North Terminal, but now its Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport’s turn to see some updates. The International terminal at Fort Lauderdale airport is set to experience a six-year, $450 million expansion, the Sun Sentinel reported. When completed, Terminal 4 will have doubled in size, added four gates, doubled the number of restrooms and added new restaurants and concessions.
“We’re trying to enhance the overall passenger experience in Terminal 4, because when we’re busy, we’re really crowded,” Greg Meyer, an airport spokesperson, said. “On heavy traffic days, lines go out the door.” [Sun Sentinel] – Christopher Cameron
