A 76,903-square-foot self-storage facility in Fort Myers has sold for $3.2 million, according to Marcus & Millichap, which brokered the deal on behalf of the Florida-based seller. Marcus & Millichap’s Michael Mele, first vice president for investments and senior director of the firm’s National Self-Storage Group in Tampa, had the exclusive listing. The property, which was built in 2006, is 80.6 percent occupied among its 438 units. “We have seen incredible activity on distressed self-storage assets as buyers compete heavily on both price and terms for these opportunities,” Mele said. — Alexander Britell
