East Village Apartments affordable housing community to open in Davie

The East Village Apartments affordable housing community will officially open its doors next week in Davie. The $33 million project, a partnership between Carlisle Development Group and the Broward County Housing Authority, is located at 7481 NW 33rd Street. It includes a total of 155 units in a townhome-style complex, and also features a 20,000-square-foot lake. “East Village is a great example of how partnerships can work to improve lives in our community,” said Davie Mayor Judy Paul. The project was financed through funding from the Richman Group, Citi Community Capital and federal stimulus funds, among other sources. — Alexander Britell
