A shopping center in Fort Lauderdale, known as the Victoria Park Shoppes, has been hit with a $19.9 million foreclosure lawsuit, the South Florida Business Journal reported.
A commercial mortgage-backed securities trust, represented by U.S. Bank file the suit against London Associates, who is the owner of the 69,437-square-foot, 83.5 percent occupied shopping center.
The retail center, which is located at 618 North Federal Highway, hasn’t paid its mortgage since December. The largest tenant is Winn-Dixie, with 31,420 square feet, followed by Victoria Park Animal Hospital, with 3,416 square feet. [SFBJ] — Christopher Cameron
