Miami Beach’s Monte Carlo project begins vertical construction in North Beach

Rilea Group, the developer of the 1450 Brickell office tower and the One Broadway apartments in downtown Miami’s Brickell neighborhood, has begun vertical construction on the Monte Carlo apartment tower. The 21-story, oceanfront project is located at 6551 Collins Avenue in Miami’s North Beach neighborhood. The 136-unit project is slated for completion in February 2014. Rilea is the project manager on the tower, which has already completed its foundation. “Engaging Rilea Group as project manager affords the owner behind a new project the expertise, relationships and hard-earned track record that has come to define our firm over the past 30 years,” said Alan Ojeda, CEO of Rilea. The project is designed by Revuelta Architecture and is being built by Coastal Construction. — Alexander Britell
