Espacio USA, the American division of the Spanish firm Immobilaria Espacio, has unveiled its plan for the new $412 million mixed-use project at 1400 Biscayne Boulevard that will be designed by architecture firm Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. The firm’s I.M. Pei designed the Miami Tower office building. The project, which will break ground in early 2013, will be located in the long-dormant Omni neighborhood. The 55-story luxury residential condominium tower will also have a 12-story, 103,000-square-foot Class A office building that will seek LEED Gold status.
