James Royal Palm hotel to debut Nov. 7

The James Royal Palm will be opening its doors on Nov. 7, the project announced. The hotel, which also has locations in Chicago and New York City, is located at 1545 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. The hotel had been briefly owned by Sunstone Hotel Investors,  which paid $126.1 million for the former Royal Palm property in a bankruptcy auction. It was then sold for $130 million to KSL Capital Partners. It is managed by Denihan Hospitality Group. — Alexander Britell
