The Hamlet Country Club has sold for $11 million to HHC Atlantic, owner of the 154-room Seagate Hotel & Spa in Delray Beach, the Sun Sentinel reported. The sale includes an 18-hole, Joe Lee-designed golf course, eight-court tennis center, fitness center, restaurants, bar and other facilities. All will be renamed under the Seagate Country Club brand.
The Seagate hotel now has “all of the ingredients — a private golf and tennis club, an award-winning spa, a private oceanfront beach club and world-class dining for our guests — making us a full destination resort,” E. Anthony Wilson, chairman of Seagate Hospitality Group, said. [Sun Sentinel] — Christopher Cameron
