Parkland Golf & Country Club to unveil model homes at three price points

The Parkland Golf & Country Club will reveal three new model houses this Friday, the Sun Sentinel reported. The Saviero Mediterranean model represents a style that will be priced in the low $500,000s, while the Bolano model will start in the mid-$600,000s. Finally, the Treanna Tuscan model will go for more than $1 million.

The developer Toll Brothers originally purchased the 850-home development, located at 10001 Old Club Road in Parkland, in November 2010 from WCI Communities for $53 million. Parkland Golf & Country Club still has approximately 300 development sites left, according to Jim McDade, a regional executive for Toll. The deal was soured at the time by the presence of toxic Chinese drywall in 25 of the communities homes.

“We’re very optimistic,” McDade said. “Next year we expect to see a continuation of the improvement from 2012.” [Sun Sentinel]Christopher Cameron
