Shared workspace Pipeline Brickell has reached 70 percent occupancy in its first month. The 14,000-square-foot office, which is located at 1101 Brickell Avenue in Miami, focuses on start-ups, professionals and global companies. “There is a value that you simply can’t get from working at home or in a private office,” said Pipeline Co-Founder Philippe Houdard. “Our members get that and are already taking full advantage.” Miami has been seeing more and more shared workspaces opening in the area, from Buro Miami (which has added an office in Sunset Harbour) to Wynwood’s LAB Miami. Some of Pipeline’s tenants include Italian design firm Pininfarina (which designed the 1100 Millecento Residences in Brickell) and Richard Branson’s Virgin Unite foundation. Co-Founder Todd Oretsky said there was “palpable demand” for the shared workspace concept in Miami. — Alexander Britell
