The Palm Beach Hotel Condominium will be receiving a 10-year tax abatement from Palm Beach’s Landmarks Preservation Commission thanks to a renovation project, the Palm Beach Daily News reported. The work will focus on repairing water damage on a balcony at the complex, which is located at 235 Sunrise Avenue. “There will be no change to the exterior facade at all,” said engineer Brian Maskol, who is leading the project. “Whatever we remove is going to go back with like materials and like appearance.” The tax break will apply to the east side of the building, where the damage occurred.
