Penthouse on Fisher Island hits the market asking $12.9M

Correction Appended: A penthouse in Fisher Island — the neighborhood that boasted the highest per capita income in the U.S. on the 2010 census — has hit the market asking $12.9 million, according to data provided by Condo Vultures.

The six-bedroom, seven and a half-bathroom, 7,924-square-foot unit occupies the full top floor of the 5100 Bayview At Fisher Island condominium and was also the priciest listing of the day in South Florida. Built in 2005, the waterfront unit features a plethora of amenities which include 24-foot barreled ceilings, two private elevators, three fireplaces, four parking spaces, two golf carts and the largest storage unit in the building.
