Related chairman and Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross has no intention of moving the football team, even if public funding for Sun Life Stadium’s renovation doesn’t pan out, the Sun Sentinel reported. Fans of the team became concerned that the team might be packing its bags after learning that Ross was studying a possible bid for AEG, which manages a proposed football stadium in Los Angeles.
“I have no interest at all in moving the Dolphins,” Ross said in a statement. The bid, he said, is, “strictly advancing our real estate, sports, entertainment and technology business.” [Sun Sentinel] —Christopher Cameron
