The 58,000-square-foot Vizcayne retail center in Downtown Miami has signed three new retail tenants, Terranova, the exclusive retail leasing agent for Vizcayne announced today.
Vizcayne — the 49-story dual towered mixed-use development, which includes 849 residential units, on Biscayne Bay — has inked leases with Orangetheory Fitness, Café Papillon and Smoothie King for fall 2013. Orangetheory Fitness will open a 3,000-square-foot facility at Vizcayne on NE 2nd Street, while Smoothie King and the French bakery, Café Papillion, will occupy 600-square-foot and 1,070-square-foot spaces respectively.
“Downtown Miami continues to thrive with new things for residents to enjoy,” Juan Franco, commercial associate of Terranova, said. “We have seen a surge of leasing activity in downtown recently and a great deal of quality retailers are beginning to take notice that this is one of the top markets in Miami-Dade County.”
On the residential end, Vizcayne’s sales office saw over 220 residences sold in 2012, representing a dollar volume that exceeded $20 million in December alone. —Christopher Cameron
