Douglas Elliman is continuing to expand across South Florida, with new agents and a new office in Aventura, the New York-based brokerage announced today. The new office will focus on Aventura’s large inventory of new development condos, following fourth quarter 2012 reports showing that condo prices in the area posted double-digit gains.

Sales associates Richard and Ivonn Goihman will be taking the helm at the new office, which will be located at 18851 NE 29 Avenue, according to a statement from Elliman.

“South Florida real estate is admired globally, and our agents are working with the most important feeder markets,” Vanessa Grout, president and CEO of Douglas Elliman in Florida, said in the statement. “The new office and ongoing acquisition of senior level talent illustrates our growth trajectory and the market’s recent turnaround.”

Elliman is also adding brokers Pablo Alfaro and Daniel Tzinker to their South Florida team. Alfrao will be joining the brokerage as executive vice president, handling marketing of new development projects. Alfaro previously worked with EWM Realty International and in Elliman’s New York offices.

Tzinker is joining Elliman as director of luxury sales, where he will specialize in working with foreign buyers. —Christopher Cameron
