Jamestown Properties, an Atlanta-based real estate investor, has leased up about 40 percent of Bridges at Kendall Place in Kendall, its planned 16-acre, 228-unit multifamily project, the South Florida Business Journal reported.
“This project represents a fresh take for the neighborhood and showcases the potential of the area and opportunity for young professionals, families and retirees alike to live in a burgeoning community at a great value,” Michael Phillips, COO of Jamestown, said in a statement.
The garden-style apartments, located at 8485 Hammock Boulevard, feature one, two and three-bedroom units ranging in size from 635 to 1,436 square feet. Since the project’s ribbon cutting last October, four of the development’s buildings have been completed and occupancy of the initial units can begin next month. [SFBJ]— Christopher Cameron
