Renovations have been completed at two Miami Beach country clubs, the Miller Construction Company, which handled the overhauls, announced today. Both the Racquet Club and the Links Golf Club, facilities within the Fisher Island Club, have had their interiors stripped and built back out with stone and mill work, the statement from the company said.
Fisher Island Club was the 1920’s-era estate of the Vanderbilt family. Miller re-tiled the club’s roofs to complement the historic design, according to the statement.
In a separate renovation project, Fisher Island has also updated its 24,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, as well as the interiors of several cottages. —Christopher Cameron
