The Miami Beach Design Review Board approved developer Glenn Boyer’s plans to convert the top deck of the Lincoln Garage into a miniature golf putting club, Curbed reported.
The Lincoln Road Putting Club, slated to open in the fall of 2014, will include a miniature golf course, garden and a restaurant designed by Berenblum Busch Architecture. Currently, the only family-friendly activities in the area are movies and bowling.
Demand for Lincoln Road retail properties has heated up in recent months, with big-ticket deals such as the $139 million purchase of a three-building portfolio by a partnership affiliated with Terranova and Acadia Realty Trust, as The Real Deal previously reported. [Curbed] —Hiten Samtani
