A prominent South Florida attorney has purchased the former Miami home of late Bee Gees’ brother Robin Gibb at a steep discount, Gossip Extra reported.
Gibb and his wife Dwina put the 9,855-square-foot Mediterranean-style house on the market in November 2011, shortly before the singer died at 62 of kidney and liver failure, for $4.25 million, as The Real Deal reported at the time of the listing.
A company controlled by Cesar Alvarez, the executive chairman of the Greenberg Traurig law firm, paid $3 million for the house, the blog reported. [Gossip Extra] –Emily Schmall
