In new ad, Related touts SLS Brickell as ‘unfair’

The Related Group’s SLS Brickell project unleashed a cheeky new advertisement this week with the slogan: “Unfair Housing.”
The hotel-condo development, the first by Los Angeles-based hotelier Sam Nazarian’s sbe, the developer of South Beach’s mega-trendy SLS hotel, will feature interiors by French architect Phillipe Starck, a 200-foot-long swimming pool, spa deck and lounge.
The 450-unit, 52-story project designed by Miami firm Arquitectonica and set to be completed in 2015 also boasts a sky room, fitness center, ballroom, garden club and jazz lounge, according to the project’s Web site.
Condos owners, paying for units ranging in price from $307,000 to more than $754,000, will be “spoiled by choices by the best chefs and artists,” the site said. In-house culinary options will include The Bazaar by José Andrés, Katsuya by Starck, and Michael’s by Michael Schwartz. –Emily Schmall
