A newly built, 11-bedroom Star Island manse is on the market for $35 million, according to the listing’s agents, Jill Eber and Jill Hertzberg, who are gunning for a third $30-million-plus home sale this summer.
The waterfront home on the manmade island on Biscayne Bay sits on a 40,000-square-foot lot and features a driveway of Tahitian pebbles, a theatre, elevator and a dumbwaiter to the 1,800-square-foot master suite. It also has a second-floor pool and garden.
“It’s modern, sleek and very sophisticated,” Hertzberg said in a release announcing the sale of the property, developed by Todd Glaser and the Posner Group.
The Jills, a longtime pair of Miami-based associates, are hoping to clinch their third sale of a $30-million-range home this summer. Ranked as the nation’s top residential real estate team in sales volume for 2012 by The Wall Street Journal/Real Trends Top 1000, Hertzberg and Eber closed two, $30 million sales in a 30-day period, including Alex Rodriguez’s 4358 North Bay Road “party pad,” and the June 24 sale of La Gorce Island Castello del Sole, from one corporation to another. — Emily Schmall
