Foundation work is underway on Related Group’s latest luxe tower, One Ocean in South Beach, just a week after the developer got the city’s OK, exMiami reported.
Related chairman and chief executive Jorge Pérez announced the project, at 91 Collins Ave. in Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood, in October and then tapped Mexican starchitect Enrique Norten to bring it to life, as The Real Deal reported.
One Ocean is slated to include 46, 3,000-square-foot units and four villas.
“One Ocean is my legacy for Miami Beach,” Pérez told TRD.
The developer brought together a number of artists and designers on the project, including Norten, Enzo Enea, Jose Bedia, Eugenio Cuttica, Michelle Oka Doner and Daniel Azouley. Norten is also designing the neighboring 321 Ocean on Ocean Drive on behalf of Aria Group. [exMiami] — Emily Schmall
