South Florida real estate mogul Jeffrey Soffer married on-again, off-again girlfriend Elle Macpherson in Fiji, Us Weekly reported.
Soffer, the heir to the Turnberry empire, is known for his renovations of the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel. More recently, Soffer squared off against Lehman Bros. in court over the multibillion-dollar failure of the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, which stalled after the bank collapsed in 2008.
Soffer dated the Australian supermodel, 49, for two years before the couple split in March 2012, rekindling their romance after the real estate developer injured his vertebrae in a helicopter crash in November 2012, the tabloid reported. [Us Weekly] — Emily Schmall
