Consultatio, the development company controlled by Argentine real estate mogul and art collector Eduardo Costantini, bought the 5.53-acre property at 10201 Collins Ave. for $220 million, according to the site. The tower will rise 28 stories and contain 260 condo units, exMiami said. Miami-based Arquitectonica architects are also designing Consultatio’s Oceana Key Biscayne and Oceana Bal Harbour luxury residential towers, as The Real Deal previously reported.

Costantini founded Buenos Aires’ Malba modern art museum and is chairman of Nordelta, the Argentine capital’s most famous suburban gated community. [exMiami]Emily Schmall
